Summer at the Nobel Museum

At the Nobel Museum, summer starts on June 1st with extended opening hours and additional guided tours.

Opening hours

To make sure that all our summer visitors get a chance, opening hours are extended. Starting on Sunday June 1st, we will be open every day from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Certain days however, like Midsummer’s Eve, we will be closed so please take a look in our calendar when planning your visit.

Guided tours

The best way to visit the Nobel Museum is by joining one of our guided tours, where you get a personal tour of our exhibitions with one of our educators. Daily tours in English are held in summer at 10.15 a.m., 11.15 a.m., 1 p.m., 3 p.m., 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. (In Swedish also at 2 p.m.). There is no need to book in advance and the tours are included in the admission to the museum.

Talk-about

If you are curious about the finer points of the Nobel Prize, each day will feature a short talk on something lesser known. Set in our Bistro Nobel, it is an opportunity to grab something light to eat or drink and find out about something you didn’t know. Daily at 5 p.m.

Bistro Nobel

As the museum increases opening hours, so does Bistro Nobel. Our museum restaurant will continue to serve a variety of dishes, now also with the possibility to sit outdoors.
